The Flight of the Conchords - 2007

Plot: Bret and Jemaine are Flight of the Conchords, a folk-rock band from New Zealand living in New York City in search of stardom.

Story: Two New Zealander friends experience life, love, friendship, all the usual stuff, while trying to make their lives as a rock band. A rock band that can only schedule a performance at the local aquarium, is run by an eager and overambitious New Zealand buddy, and has only one fan.

Did you know: At a photo-shoot, Murray says Bret looks so small next to Jemaine that he looks like he could be in Lord of the Rings. Bret McKenzie actually appeared in minor roles in both The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
